What your child gets

A plan made for them

No two children are stuck in the same place. Your child's sessions start from where they actually are, not where a worksheet says they should be.

πŸ—ΊοΈ

What this means for your child

πŸ”

It starts with getting to know your child

The first visit is a relaxed conversation and some light activities, so Kaity can see what your child already knows and where they need help.

🧩

Goals you agree on together

You, your child and Kaity decide what matters most: a subject, a skill, homework routines or getting ready for a big test.

πŸͺœ

Each session builds on the last

Sessions follow a plan, so today's work connects to last week's and leads into next week's.

πŸ”„

The plan changes as your child does

When something clicks, we move on. When school brings something new, the plan makes room for it.

What it looks like in a session

  1. First visitGetting to know your child: what they enjoy, what's hard, how they learn best.
  2. Set goalsAgree on two or three things to work on first.
  3. Weekly sessionsEach one picks up where the last left off.
  4. Check progressEvery few weeks, look back at the goals together.
  5. AdjustKeep what's working, change what isn't.

What you'll see as a parent

  • You'll know what your child is working on and why.
  • You can raise new concerns at any time, and the plan adjusts.
  • You'll see the plan grow with your child through the school year.

Questions parents ask

What happens at the first visit?

Kaity and your child get to know each other. She asks about school, looks at some recent work, and tries a few short activities to see where your child is.

Do you follow my child's school curriculum?

Sessions are built around what your child is doing in class, so tutoring and school support each other.

What if my child's needs change?

The plan changes too. You can always tell Kaity what you're seeing at home.
