Retirement didn't change the job. Just the uniform.
"I want people to know they have someone they can trust to look after their home and pets when they can't be there."
I'm Brian Taylor. I recently retired after 34 years in law enforcement and started Valley Blue Line here in San Tan Valley to put that experience to good use for my neighbors.
Right now it's just me. When you book, I'm the one who comes to your home, walks your dog and checks your doors. I also have experience with residential crime prevention and property security assessments.
Protecting people and serving my community isn't just what I've done. It's part of who I am.

Good questions to ask before handing over a key
Who actually comes to my home?
Brian does. It's a one-person business right now, so the person you talk to on the phone is the person who visits.
What happens on a home watch visit?
Brian checks doors and windows, looks for leaks, storm damage or unusual activity, and contacts you about anything that needs your attention.
What is a residential security assessment?
Brian walks your property and recommends practical ways to make it safer, based on Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED) — things like lighting, sight lines, landscaping and entry points.
Do you stay overnight?
Overnight stays are considered case by case. Call Brian to talk it through.
Will my pets have to go to a kennel?
No. In-home pet care means your pets stay in their own home — fed, watered and given company while you're away.
How far ahead should I book?
As early as you can, especially around holidays and peak travel season. Short-notice requests are accommodated when the schedule allows.
What areas do you cover?
San Tan Valley, Queen Creek, Gilbert, Chandler, Mesa and nearby Southeast Valley neighborhoods.
Going out of town? Call Brian.
Tell him your dates, your pets and your address area, and he'll set up the visits.
