Age & ID rules
Every piercing is at the piercer’s discretion. The ID rules themselves have no exceptions.
18 and older
All piercings, including surface, anchor, nipple and genital. Bring a valid state photo ID, driver’s license, passport or military ID.
15 to 17
Ear and cartilage, nostril, lip, eyebrow and navel only, with a parent present. Bring a state photo ID for the parent and the minor with a matching last name or address — or the parent’s photo ID plus the minor’s school ID and original birth certificate naming the parent.
5 and older
Earlobes only, with a parent present. Bring the parent’s state photo ID and the child’s original birth certificate naming the parent. Copies aren’t accepted.
