Creator terms

Between you (the creator) and Annie's Action AI Agency Corporation. We wrote this to be read, not to be survived. If a line does not make sense, ask us before you agree to it.

1. What this is

You make videos about local businesses, or about your own. We turn them into permanent web pages that carry your name, filed in the community and the town they belong to, and we give you a page of your own to keep your work on.

We are your publisher. We are not your manager, your agent or your employer, and we do not sell your services for you.

2. What stays yours

Your videos, your photos and your words remain yours. You are not selling them to us and we are not taking ownership of anything you make.

You give us permission to publish the material you send us — on your creator page, on the feature pages you ask us to build, and in the places those pages are shared.

3. Your opinion belongs to you

We build the write-up from your own recorded words. You read it and approve it before anyone else sees it. Nothing publishes without your yes.

Because the views on a feature page are yours, they stay yours. Annie's publishes them; Annie's does not author them and does not adopt them as its own opinion. The other side of that: you are responsible for what you say. If you state something as fact, it needs to be true as far as you know.

4. Your video never goes on the page

We take a copy of your video, pull the words out of it, and delete our copy. We do not host it, embed it, republish it or link to it. The page is built from what you said and it works alongside your video, not instead of it.

That means the licensing on your music, your footage and your edit never leaves the platform you posted it on.

5. Telling people when you were paid

If a business pays you, feeds you, discounts you or gives you anything of value, you must tell us, and it will be printed on the page.

This is not our preference — it is required by the Federal Trade Commission, and it protects you more than it protects us. A submission without this answer will not publish.

6. The business has to know

Before we publish a feature about someone else's business, you confirm that you have spoken to the owner or a manager and that they know it is going up, and you tell us who you spoke to.

If the business is your own — you are an agent, a broker, a maker selling your own product — this does not apply to you. You are the owner.

7. Sending us other people's material

Only send us material you made or have the right to use. Photos you send should be photos you took. Anyone in a photo who is not the business should be happy to be on a public page.

Do not send us music, footage, logos or writing belonging to somebody else without their permission.

8. What we will not publish

Some things we do not carry at all, no matter how good the video is. This is not a judgement about you:

What you can always say is what happened to you. "The comfiest shoes I own." "My skin calmed right down." "Cheaper than the ones I had before." That is yours to say and we publish it unchanged. The line is: what happened to you, not what the product does.

If something you send crosses one of these, we will tell you which line and help you say it another way.

9. If you hold a licence

For real estate, mortgage and insurance, we will ask for your licence number, the state that issued it and your brokerage, company or agency, and we print them on the page as you give them to us.

We do not check them, and you should not read our publishing your page as us having checked them. Your licence is yours, your regulator's advertising rules are yours to meet, and where your broker or compliance officer has to approve an advert, that approval is yours to get.

10. What we promise, and what we will not

We promise the work: your creator page, transcription of your video, a write-up built from your words, your media kit, and the feature pages you ask us to build.

We do not promise followers, views, traffic, brand deals, income, or that a search engine or an AI assistant will show your work. Nobody can promise those things, and anyone who puts a number in front of you before they have met you is guessing.

11. Your money is your business

What you charge a business is entirely yours. We do not invoice your customer, we do not take a percentage, and we are not part of that transaction. You buy the work from us and what you sell it for is up to you.

Nothing here makes you an employee, a partner or a joint venturer of Annie's. You are an independent creator using a publishing service.

12. Taking things down, and leaving

You can ask us to take down any page carrying your work, and we will.

You can leave at any time. When you do, tell us whether you want your pages taken down or left up — it is your call, and we will not hold your work to keep you subscribed.

We may take down a page, or end this agreement, if material turns out not to be yours, if a required disclosure was not made, or if something published is shown to be untrue.

13. If somebody complains

If a business or another person raises a serious objection to a published feature, we will contact you and may take the page down while it is sorted out. Putting it back is the normal outcome.

You are responsible for the truth of what you said and for having the rights to what you sent.

14. Changes to these terms

These terms will be reviewed by a lawyer once the service is finished being built. If that review changes anything, or if we change anything ourselves, we will tell you in writing before it applies to you. If you do not agree, you can leave under section 12 and your pages are handled however you want.
