Website Design

Start with a link. Grow into a website.

Every business needs somewhere to send people. Start at forty-nine ninety-five with one page and a link that never changes, then go to three pages, then eight — when the business is ready, not when a web shop says so.

Do you have a website that isn’t producing — and can’t afford to start over?

Sites stop producing for a short list of reasons, and they are all things somebody has to sit down and do. Here is what usually causes it, what we do about it, and how you get there without paying for a full rebuild up front.

Why a site stops producing

  • Nothing on it says where you work. No page names your trade in the towns you actually serve, so there is nothing to match when somebody searches that way.
  • An AI can’t read it. Answer engines quote pages written to be quoted. Most sites were written years before anyone was asking an assistant for a plumber.
  • It fights a phone. Nearly everyone looking you up is on one, and the number, the hours and the button are below three screens of scrolling.
  • There is no easy way to reach you. No quote form, no tap-to-call, or a contact box that goes to an inbox nobody opens.
  • The page titles and descriptions are blank or generic. That is the line a search result shows, and often it is the only thing anyone reads.
  • Nothing has changed on it in years. Nothing new to index, nothing current to quote, nothing that tells anyone you are still open.

What we do about it

  • Rebuild it around your customer. Call you, book you, check the hours, see the work — on the first screen, on a phone.
  • AEO — answer engine optimization. Written so ChatGPT, Gemini and the rest can read your pages and quote them, in your own words.
  • GEO — the towns you actually serve. A real page for each one, under your trade, tied into Annie’s map.
  • SEO on every page. Titles, descriptions, headings and structured data written for your business, not left blank.
  • A quote or booking form that reaches you, and a number that dials when it’s tapped.
  • Your branding and your own domain, from any registrar you like. Hosting and SSL included.
  • Worked every month. AEO, SEO and GEO are part of the monthly, not a one-time pass at launch.
  • It grows with you. Pages added for a new service, a new town, a new crew — monthly changes included.

And you don’t start over at full price

  • Begin with one page, free right now. No card, no setup fee, live when you finish typing it.
  • Move up when the business is ready, not when a web shop says so.
  • Month to month. No contract, ever. You can stop any time, and so can we.
  • The monthly is the work — keeping it live and promoting it. It is not rent on something you do not own.

The three ways in are right below.

We have been building and marketing websites a long time — long before anybody was asking an AI where to find a plumber. The job changed. The way we do it changed with it.

Three ways in.

One page, three pages or eight. The larger number is setup and initial development — the build itself. The smaller number is ongoing promotion and site maintenance, including AEO, SEO and GEO optimization every month. It is not rent on something you do not own.

Go big

What's included is what's on the form. Each level has its own intake form. You fill in what that level provides, and that's what we build. Work beyond it — extra processing, handling, growth — is quoted in writing before anything starts.

Your domain is yours.

You buy your domain from whatever registrar you're comfortable with — we'll help you pick one — and point it at our servers. Unlike some web companies, we don't hold your domain hostage. You own your name, and if you ever leave, you leave with it.

How we work together

Month to month, both ways.

There is no contract. Either side can end it any time the relationship stops being good — you, or us.

Annie sat cross-legged with a laptop, smiling

No contract, ever

Month to month. Cancel and billing stops at the end of the month. Nothing to get out of.

Time is a guideline

How long a job takes depends on its scope and on who we're working with. Any timeline we give you is a guideline, not a meter running.

We want the long one

We're looking for customers who enjoy working with us. This is a creative process, and both sides need to be feeling it.

We're mostly robots — but the humans here have feelings, and so do our customers. That's why it's severable both ways.

How it works

You fill in a form. We do the rest.

No agency discovery process, no forty-page proposal.

Step 1

Pick a tier

Start where you are. Moving up later doesn't mean starting over.

Step 2

Fill in the form

Your details, your services, your photos. About ten minutes for a Starter, longer for eight pages.

Step 3

We build it and you review

We work through it with you until it's right, then it goes live.

What we don't do

Straight answers.

Questions

Questions people actually ask.

How much does a website cost?

One page with a permanent link — that's the $5 Website — is free right now: no setup fee, no monthly, no card. You fill it in yourself and change it whenever you like. For the larger sites the first number builds it and the second keeps it working: three pages on your own domain is $159.95 and $15.95 a month, eight pages is $359.95 and $29.95 a month. Every price is on this page, and none of them has a contract behind it.

How long does it take?

A Starter page goes up quickly once your form is in. A full site takes longer because there's more to review with you. We'll give you a date when we have your details, not before.

Do I own the website?

Yes. You own your domain, your content and your photos. If you leave, you take them.

Is hosting included?

Yes. Hosting, SSL and the upkeep are in the monthly. There's no separate hosting bill.

What does the monthly actually pay for?

Two things: keeping the site live, secure and maintained, and promoting it — AEO, SEO and GEO optimization worked on every month, because what search engines and AI assistants reward keeps changing. The setup fee paid for the build; the monthly is the work that keeps it findable. It is not rent on something you don't own.

Can you guarantee I will rank on Google?

No, and be careful with anyone who says they can. We do the work that makes your site readable and findable, and we tell you what we did.

Is there a contract?

No. Every level is month to month. You can stop any time and billing ends at the end of that month — and we can too, if the relationship isn't working. It goes both ways on purpose.

How much of your time do I get?

It depends on the scope and on the job. What's included is what the intake form for your level asks for — fill that in and we build it. Anything past that gets quoted in writing first, so there are no surprise invoices.

What if I already have a website?

Point your domain at us and we'll rebuild it at whichever size fits, or leave it where it is and start with a Starter page as a second front door. Either is fine.
